A Hotel Born from the Mountain
Arktos Boutique Hotel was conceived as a tribute to the enduring beauty of Zagori — one of Greece's most celebrated mountain landscapes. Set in the quiet village of Liggiades at 950 metres above sea level, the hotel was designed to embody the architecture and spirit of the Epirus highlands.
The hotel's two harmonious buildings draw directly from the traditional stone-and-slate vernacular of the region. Thick-cut local stone walls, timber-beam ceilings, and wrought-iron details speak to the craft traditions of the area, while generous windows frame the dramatic panorama of Lake Pamvotis and the city of Ioannina below.
Our philosophy is simple: that luxury need not shout. The finest experience is one where impeccable comfort, genuine warmth, and the uninterrupted beauty of nature speak quietly for themselves.

Our breakfast is a curated spread of locally sourced ingredients: mountain honey and seasonal jams alongside traditional pies and golden pastries, creamy yoghurt from nearby farms, and a selection of regional cheeses and cured meats.
Alongside the classics you will find homemade sweets such as croissants, eggs prepared to order, and herbal teas gathered from the surrounding hillsides. Breakfast is served daily in our dining room from 08:00 to 10:00, with views that make every sip of coffee a ceremony.
